Andrew graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and has built a wide-ranging career across both general and hospital dentistry. After completing his Dental Foundation Training in the Northwest, including a year as an Oral and Maxillofacial Senior House Officer at Manchester Royal Infirmary, he worked for several years in practices across Liverpool, Glossop, and Manchester before joining MacDental in 2022.
In 2020, Andrew was awarded a Master of Science with Merit in Endodontology (root canal treatment) from the University of Chester. With this advanced training, he focuses on providing more complex root canal treatment, helping patients save teeth that might otherwise need to be removed. Whether it's re-treatment of previously failed root canals or managing more challenging cases, Andrew approaches each case with precision, care, and a calm, reassuring manner.
Known for his warm and patient-focused approach, Andrew is particularly good with nervous patients and takes time to ensure they feel understood and at ease throughout treatment. As someone who is profoundly deaf and a proud recipient of a cochlear implant, Andrew values clear communication and always aims to build trust and confidence with his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Andrew enjoys cooking for friends and family and spending time outdoors. He and his wife Alice love long walks in the Peak District with their Lagotto Romagnolo.
